Does anyone know how long the TDHCA is taking to get commitment letters out? Our closing date is Nov. 2nd and wondering if that is too aggressive.

FIRST ANSWER
They are running about 3 weeks to process at the moment, according to inside sources.
So, it depends on when you put your request in as to whether it would be out in time for closing 11/2. Check with your loan officer.
We expect them to be congested for some time to come, and that people applying at the last minute will be disappointed that they missed the 11/30 deadline.
