Positano is a nice community that was built at a time where alot of investors bought in making the community have short sales etc. It is a good value for new construction and has nice layout with minimum of shared walls. If you purchase you have time to rescind your contract based on condo doc review for three days. I reccomend attorney review of condo docs to insure stability.

Hi Susan, There have been 17 closings on properties in Positano Place just this year alone. The range of closed sales are from $72k-$200k. There are also another 14 Pending, and about 20 active. Anything over a 1 bedroom is in the $100k+ range. I have not heard anything about Chinese Drywall over there. The HOA may be in decent shape, but it may be difficult to qualify for a mortgage if that is your intention. Once a community has a certain amount of investors it gets tricky on the mortgage side.
