We have acceptance letter on Nov 5 on our offer w/contingency for mech. we had the well water tested it isnt safe for human consumption. Our buyer agent verbally told the seller agent about findings, we haven't had the mechanicals completed after the findings about the well, the cost is $30,000 to hook to rural water and we would then have to pay $400 more for the rest of mechanical. If we submit the water findings alone it could end our inspection period for all of the mechanical. The sellers agent just said the bank wouldnt accept new offer, now not returning calls and is waiting for our time to expire on the contract, isnt he suppose to submit all offers? Our agent is having pers. problems so I'm trying help get her a good contact number and/or fax number for Sue Roque at BOA (her name is on the acceptance letter with the loan # and 1-800-421-2110, but we can't get anywhere with that number. Any help would be appreciated, weve been waiting since July time is running out for closing
The bank will only deal with their own contacts, they are not going to deal directly with your agent.
