Like other areas in the south, I would strongly reccommend you drive and walk the neighbourhoods / subdivisons to get a feel for where you want to live, and then the proximity to the schools once you get there.

How wonderful ! You will love this area. To the west, Cleveland,MS is a college-town and very family oriented. The public school system is highly rated and the private school, "Presbyterian Day School" is a great place to begin pre-school. To the east is Grenada,MS- Again this is a very fast growing area with a dynamic school system for all grades.

I don't live in the area now, but my freshman year in college I went to Delta State University (a small college in Cleveland). Because the college is there, I would think Cleveland would be as family-friendly as most (it's only 44 miles away). Just a thought...
