Sue,

You can always try http://www.rentclicks.com for rental comps! Good website!

Are you looking to purchase an investment property in FL? If so, I would recommend staying clear for about a year. Rents are too low at this point for it to make sense. There are other places in the US that offer cash flow properties and long term gains. If over $200 a month in positive cash flow with only 10% down is interesting, don't hesitate to check out http://www.nwrei.net.

Good luck to you!

You will find homes available from about $1,000 to very high prices depending on size, age, location, amenities. There are a number of gated subdivision homes and waterfront homes and these will be priced higher. The average 3BR home will be from $1500 to $2,200

The price will depend on the type of home your looking for (Single-Family, Condo or Townhome). The location will also affect price (Intracoastal or Beach). Having said that you can budget spending $1,000 to $2,000 a month. Let me know if you would like me to send you current rentals in NPB.
