Lot's of very funky and low life extended stay places. You're better off staying with the more popular and branded names. I've been a Platinum Elite member of Marriott properties and timeshares for 50 years. I'd go Marriott all the way if you can. Best service. Very safe. Very personable and always concerned.

If your question is about safety, there are lots of tips available by searching the Internet. The standard ones include always parking near a light, being very aware of what is parked near you (idling? someone sitting there? van with sliding door? etc.) as well as having your key in your hand and ready to use. There are many more good ideas than would fit here.

There isn't much right near the hospital but then again that depends on what you feel is near. You will find two extended stay hotels down Mowry Ave. towards the 880 just off Farwell. The driveway for these hotels is between the Quick Stop and the Elks Club all the way back towards the freeway and I have had a few client's stay there for extended time frames. 5400 Farwell Pl Fremont

Are you asking which places are suitable?

From my past travels as a regional sales manager, I've always liked

Extended Stay America http://www.extendedstayamerica.com/

Residence Inn by Marriott http://www.marriott.com/residence-inn/travel.mi

and Comfort Suites http://www.comfortsuites.com/

They have kitchenettes with cookware, utensils, china, etc so I can cook if I wanted to.
