Watertown,New York is mostly stick bulit homes and farms with unbeleivable amounts of acres attached.It is truly one of the last places in NYS that you can easliy aquire alot of land for hunting camping or buliding a new home.

Watertown is not a Brownstone area. The "Brownstone" would have needed to be transported many miles to complete the construction. There were too many other types of local construction materials for builders to use: fieldstone, limestone, brick, and wood are the most commonly found building materials in this area.
