Do we need to pay extra money if we let title company come to our home to sign documents?

It's best to check directly with your title company - they will disclose all the fees. In my experience there is often a doc signer fee if documents have to be signed away from their office - but I have also had cases where the escrow officer personally has gone to a buyer's workplace and not charged. My guess is that it might also depend on if you are using a local title company or not. If you aren't working with a local title company- they are also more likely to charge for someone to facilitate signing the documents.
