1) Through a dealer = new ones
2) Independently = usually need to be moved at cost to buyer (investor dumping to build on land)
3) Purchased on land = most of the value is in the land, substantially less then a stick built home on land/porperty
4) On leased land = buyer pays rent space and owns manufactured home
It just depends on where the trailer/mobile home is located. If it's situated in a mobile home park, chances are the lot/land is leased to you for a monthly fee - typically around $300 to $500. If the mobile home is by itself in a rural setting, it's probably being sold together with the land that it's on.
