In this market, I see more agents that specialize in a specific market nitch like Short Sales, HAFA, investors, Global buyers, loan modifications, Green Energy, x, y and etc generations and different areas of interest and fields. Almost every real estate agent today has designations after their name
showing their specialty.
Also...the amount of studying that agents have to learn every day updating new government rules and regulations and taking excessive classes online and in classes.
I would say that real estate agents today are much more knowledgeable, educated and professional.
