I'm looking to buy a 2 bedroom condo for under $175k on the Eastside (by Seattle - anywhere from Bothell down to Renton, but ideally as close to Bellevue as possible) and while I'm finding some great deals with the slumping market, it seems like non of the condos accept large dogs. Multiple small dogs, but not a single large dog. I have a quiet, mellow large dog and my some of my previous neighbors didn't even know I had a dog - she was that quiet and well-behaved! I've had to turn down some potentially terrific deals once my agent got the details from the property managers/HOAs. Does anyone know of condos on the Eastside that accept a 70 lb dog? Thanks in advance!

Great, sounds like you have a really diligent agent working for you. You're right about there being different pet restrictions/allowances being posted by units in the same community. The only way to truly know is to contact the board members or the property management. Don't you wish agents would do some more research before advertising falsely on the MLS about condos or townhomes and their pet restrictions or availability?
Thanks for the info. I've checked back with my agent and she's been playing phone tag with many of these places already. What's advertised and what property management allows has frequently been different. One place had 2 units for sale, where the first unit advertised 'No pet restrictions!!!' and the 2nd unit said 'No dogs or cats'. Go figure.
Hey Michelle I specialize in townhomes and condos on the eastside and there are many properties that accept larger dogs. I posted a link below that you can see all the pictures and information for the different eastside communities that have no pet restricitons. Hope this helps!

Based on the information you provided - I prepared a list of condos in which the listing agent indicates there are "NO RESTRICTIONS" on pets. If any interest you I will gladly confirm if they will accept your 70lb. dog. I do know of a great community in Renton and another in Snohomish (really Mill Creek) that accept large animals and happy to share those with you as well.
Hope that helps and good luck with your search! Just clieck on the link below to see the listings I pulled for you :-)
