Condominium in the College Station Woodlands, a good investment property?

Asked by atoz27, Gaithersburg, MD Tue Sep 4, 2012

I'm looking to buy a condominium in The Woodlands of College Station as an investment property. I was wondering if anybody has experience owning an investment property there and whether it's worth to own something there?

No way. Buy in south side neighborhood or walking distance to campus. Woodlands is a cool place to live right no but what about5 to 7 years from now.

They are a little hit and miss over there, there are a few that are very nice, but not all are individually owned... Many are still owned by the complex, so you have to follow suit with whatever price they are asking or you will be left vacant.

I work with investors world wide RECOMMEND contact a Realtor consultant prior to making any purchase. It can end up in a nightmare OR a "gravy train "
