It is impossible for us to answer that - the good thing is that you have an excellent choice either way!
School rankings, test scores and parents comments can help you decide, but ultimately it honestly comes down to the teachers of your children's class, parent involvement and other uncontrollable factors.

If you haven't already, you might reach out to the schools while they are still in session and se about paying them a visit to help you decide or even talk to neighbors in the neighborhoods you are looking at.

Chances are, either way you will end up in an excellent school system! I know this doesn't help you decide, but choosing schools is such a personal decision.

I am looking at the communities of Sugar Mill & Doublegate also along with Chartwell. The home at Chartwell is butiful but seems like the school system for the Sugar Mill and Doublegate are better. Can somebody shed some light on this please as I am unable to decide bcoz of the school system.

North Fulton is a great place to live and Hillside is a good school. You can go to several different websites including my own to check how any school ranks. You should also consider south Forsyth county if you are coming north. The taxes are a little cheaper and many people say the schools are just as good as north Fulton. It is an excellent school system. I live in Hillside, Haynes Bridge, Centennial schools and that's while we are here! My daughter came to 4th grade at Hillside after K-3 in Private school and it was pretty seamless. We're headed to Centennial next year.

Chartwell is a great neighborhood - and there are other comparable/similar neighborhoods in the same schools system.
