Can you use a CDA (Community Development Assistance) loan with a VA loan?

Akil,
I have done both CDA and VA loans and also a VA loan using CDA. So, unless the guidelines have changed (please consult your lender) the answer to your question is YES!

Good question. I've done both loans but never at the same time for the same person. My guess would be yes because VA is pretty easy about help above and beyond the 100% CLTV and CDA is a entity of the goverment. Would it just be used to cover closing costs? On DHCD would know for sure. Even they might not know for sure. LOL. If you need to get an answer let me know and I'll try and run it down for you.
