Can you tell me more about Lake Nokomis. There are alot of houses for sale but with the draw down of water how often does that effect the lake?

The lake levels are high in the spring time. IN mid july, the WVI sells some water for Kayak races in Wausau. levels drop slightly. Levels after that may stay same or go up.

IN the fall, starting around September, the lake levels slowly drop down. Depending on rainfall and other factors, it may be slight or drasticly reduced by November. A year ago the water levels were high until November.

The water levels throughout the summer are usually good, especially for boating and fishing.

I spent many years on Lake Nokomis, the above describes a trend. In winter, people snowmobile and ice fish in parts of the lake. The summers here are best. It is a big lake. Some use to have pontoon boat parties with several boats tied side by side together.

The last few years with normal "rain fall amounts and good snow its been "normal water or high"

It also depends which part of the lake your on for water depths etc. Great full recreational lake.
