Did you see the new listing in Pine run only 104,000 asking price. It is newly updated 1/1.5 and ground floor how about that to be so close to the beach?

Call me-- I believe it is Dave's listing (a great realtor and pleasent to deal with as am I. ) Let me know if you you need anything I'll watch out for you and you'll have a little place to enjoy for this season and many to come.
Sincerely,
Gail

I agree with my colleagues. One thing to take a good look at though, is the monthly fees. All those amenities are fantastic but do come with a monthly fee, which sometimes is prohibitive when one is looking for a $200K condo.

That being said, if you were planning on joining a gym, getting insurance, joining clubs and taking classes ANYWAY, the monthly fees may turn out to be lower.

Just be informed. If you are looking at listings online - feel free to use this link http://www.TrueSarasota.com - , send a request to a buyer agent who can send you the full listing, which includes the monthly fees as well as everything it includes. That way you can decide which level of amenities -and the associated costs - is right for your lifestyle.

Best of luck .

Amenities, amenities, amenities in Pelican Cove. Pelican Cove is more of a lifestyle. PELICAN COVE AMENITIES include 24-hour gated and guarded security, an inexpensive 87-slip boat harbor, 6 heated swimming pools, 3 clubhouses, 4 tennis courts, shuffleboard, basketball, dog walk area, card clubs, singles club, tennis club, woodworking club and full equipment, horticulture club, photography club, water exercise classes, exercise facility, social club and parties, harbor club, two art studios, a pottery classroom, and even an onsite and for-fun University "PELICAN COVE UNIVERSITY" (lecture series almost daily on several different topics). Now, I am not as familiar with Pine Run amenities but know they have a pool or two, clubhouse, activities and social events and are close to boatable water and where one can purchase or rent a boat rack at Bellagio rackominium just 1/2 mile down the road for the boating enthusiasts. THE CONS: Both places, due to the trees, can be dark inside the condo units (depending, of course). Pine Run is not gated and farther from the action of Sarasota and beaches and downtown and restaurants, etc. Pine Run could be argued to be in worse condition (deferred maintenance) than Pelican Cove (from my experience) and is definitely (again, from my experience) built in a little rikkitier condition (squeaky second floors, etc.) Pine Run is not on the water with no water views of the bay or a boat harbor like PC. BUT, Pine Run is less expensive as a result of all this. A Pine Run Unit 2BR/2B is now on the market for $128,000 and the least expensive PC similar unit is priced at $199,900. For a movie on PC, go to: http://www.PelicanCoveSales.com. Good luck in your hunt.
