Can we find an energy-efficient, electric heat home in Lansing, Kansas?

We planning to move to Lansing, Kansas in July 2008, and are looking for a nice four-bedroom, 2 bath home on a large lot or in the country. Due to sensitivities to gas heat, we would prefer electric heat. We are out of the country now, and most of what we have seen on-line specifies gas heat. Anything fit our needs?

There is a neighborhood in SW Leavenworth that was built with all-electric homes. At one time, that made those homes harder to sell. It may have also been the avocado green carpeting that turned buyers off. :-) Those particular homes are not on especially large lots, however the trees are more mature now and the sense of privacy is a benefit. Glad to help when you get back to the USA!

I have a new 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch home on 2.5 acres in the Lansing School District that has electric heat. Feel free to visit my website or drop me a note.
