Can two families live in a single family house?

Can 2 persons (Brothers)own a single family home and live in the same house? Does the township will approve/accept?

Usually neighborhoodsthat have a homeowners association are more concerned about these issues. Contact the zoning dept in the city to see what are the specific rules

This will depend on the location. You should probably check with your Realtor and the township. Some neighborhoods or developments may be zoned single family. My guess is that two brothers would not be a problem, but if it is two brothers and each of their families it could be a problem.
