O.K., lets start with the market... it is a buyer's market, but Weston is proving that it has staying power against other communities when it comes to markets we are experiencing currently. Beyond that, and more directly is the bottomline question - what can a community provide you that will save you money? In Weston its the public schools. Friends and family I know living in Weston send their children to the local public school, sometimes walking to them, and are very happy with the education and the sense of community they experience. Down side to Weston currently is the high school situation. If you move to Weston now, your children will be attending Western High in Davie, not the high school on the western edge of Weston. Plantation, Davie and Cooper City are great cities to live in and each provides something different even within its own boundaries. In general, Broward is a great county to live in.
