Carla,
There is quite a bit of new construction going on in Evans, which seems to keep particular neighborhoods at a high for inventory. There are also a lof of neighborhoods in direct competition with Somerset, including Stratford, Hardy Pointe, and Highgrove, which are located all within 1 mile of each other. Evans, GA did however rank in the "top 10 places to live" in Family Circle, and is still a growing and sought after area to live. Let me know if I can assist you with any other questions.

Carla,

The inventory of homes for sale is higher than average right now all over the CSRA. Currently, there are 26 homes for sale in Somerset at Williamsburg. Nine of these are new construction listings. There are 63 homes for sale in Riverwood Plantation, 29 in Highgrove at Williamsburg, 26 in Knob Hill, 26 in Windmill Plantation and 24 in Stratford. These are all in close vicinity of Somerset at Williamsburg. Of these neighborhoods, Windmill Plantation has been the best selling versus the number of listings this year. Home sales are extremely competitive in Evans. The absorption rate of sales in Evans averages 11 months. The higher the price, the longer it will take to sell. 340 homes have sold in Evans so far this year. Currently, there are 626 homes listed for sale. The answer to your question is that there are a lot of homes for sale in Evans. The best looking homes at the best price sell. No neighborhood is an exception to that in this market.
