I met a couple on the flight to Palm Springs early December who were flying in to PS and renting a car to travel to their home in Yuma. Are there some nice homes in Yuma at a good price? Don't know anything about the city, but it sounded nice.
Hi Vicki,
I know that this is an old post but you still might be interested. Yes there are some very nice homes in Yuma. The price range varies depending on the location and the type of home you would be interested in. Currently there are alot of Canadians purchasing there Winter homes here. The Foothills which is East of Yuma is the main area that Winter Visitors purchase their homes. In that area there is a wide range of properties that are used as Winter homes. Some people buy a Lot so that they can park their Motor home on and have full hook-ups, some of these lots have small improvements on them such as a building that has a shower and bathroom and some even have small 1 bed room houses. Then there are Manufactured homes that have RV access and also Stick built homes some with RV access. There are homes in the area that are under 900 square feet and then there are homes over 3000 square feet and everything in between.
If I can be of any assistance to you please fill free to call me, I am also a Native of Yuma and probably could help you out with any other questions you may have about the area. Good Luck Hal

http://www.trulia.com/home_prices/Arizona/Yuma-heat_map/ ...This Trulia interactive map is kinda fun and has a lot of information..
http://www.trulia.com/for_sale/Yuma,AZ/foreclosure_lt/#for_s
I think looking at a map like this showing where the majority of foreclosures are occuring helps..
All this stuff is just to get a feel for things and any other comparables can only help...
Hope it helps a little bit, Dunes
Thanks, but I'd really like to know about Yuma market conditions.
Yuma is a great little town, Vicki ~ but there are some beautiful and inviting little towns/suburbs of Phoenix that you might want to consider too. And yes, I have quite a few Canadian clients that have bought homes in Arizona. Let me know if I can help in any way.
