thanks. Hello. Can anyone recommend any good-quality builders in the NW Albuquerque area or even Rio Rancho? We are looking to relocate in the area & would prefer new construction, however we are noticing more & more bad reviews over local builders, and are having trouble deciding on a reputable one. There also doesn't seem to be a lot of info on any builder's websites regarding floorplans, amenties, price ranges, etc., or any resources in finding a local builder in NM. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

do not go with williams design builders (specifically jerrett williams). he lies, he tries to take advantage of the situation in his favor and you are definitely not as important to him as a business deal. he made the home building process a nightmare and i wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

I would be glad to help you, can you give me a price range you are thinking of? Do you want a home already built or a custom built one. Anything special you are looking for? Green built, SW style, community home? Any additional info can help me give you the right recommendation.
Thanks, Ron

Do not use Williams Designer Builders ..Jerrett Williams....lies, unprofessional....lack of knowledge.....lack of communication and his contractors do not get paid. You will end up with liens on your home and and an unfinished home.

In response to the question regarding a home builder. I have 1 builder who is by far the best and have work with them for 15+ years. I'd be honored to refer you.

Not to confuse you, however, in this economy, there are so many custom homes in foreclosure and short sale, that are sold at a fraction of the cost of building from scratch (if you are building custom), that I recommend looking into resale as a financially wise move.

If you would like a tract home (non custom), those are still being built at a price that is within the market, and I'd be honored to recommend one who stands head and shoulders above the rest for many reasons.

I realize that was not a direct answer, however, if I can save you potentially tens of thousands of dollars, I would sleep better at night.

Thank you for your question! Everyone has posted great builders for you to check out. Another option you might consider is Newly Remodeled homes as an alternative to new construction. You can often get new materials such as kitchens, baths, flooring, windows, roof, and mechanical systems, for a fraction of the cost saving you money for other things like furnishings, paying down bills, or even a nice vacation after your move.

We recently finished a home in NW Albuquerque that is 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage. Everything is completely new in the home including the roof that comes with a transferable warranty. Visit here to check it out. http://www.trulia.com/property/1093567640-5712-Alegria-Rd-NW…

If you would like any more information regarding this or other homes, It is my pleasure to assist you.

There are several exceptional new home builders in Northwest Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico http://(www.HBACNM.com) might be a good source; although your best source may be any of the real estate experts who have responded to your request. Builders in the Northwest area range from individual to nationally recognized builders, each with specific characteristics, qualities, designs and energy efficiency. I am quite familiar with most of the area builders and would be pleased to answer any questions you may have and direct you to some of the better builders that will meet your specific needs.

I would be happy to introduce you to custom or semi-custom home builders in the Rio Rancho and NW Albuquerque area. I have personal experience with 2 of them and was very satisfied with their work. I also know highly rated builders in NE Albuquerque who would be happy to build in the area you are interested in. There is no charge to you for this service. Please call or e-mail me with information on the planned size, style, custom/semi-custom, and whether you already have a lot or need help finding one. These builders can show you the different styles and floor plans they have done for others.

If you are looking for less expensive, already completed homes in planned developments, I can introduce you to some of those builders also.
