Can any buyers/homeowners recommend a thorough home inspector in Westchester, NY?

My wife and I are looking at a house built in the 1920's in Pelham, NY and want a thorough home inspection to know exactly what we are getting into. I would prefer referrals from home owners who have used somebody they trust.

Strong Home Inspection is very thorough, trustworthy and reasonably priced! Visit the web site for contact information. Also, try Carnell Building & Environmental Inspections, Inc. in Valhalla 946-4300 and Peter Epstein Full House/Home Inspections in Thornwood 769-0308.

Check Mark Services in Mt. Kisco has an excellent reputation and provides photo intensive reports!

They also have a number of reviews on sites like yahoolocal and merchant circle

FIRST ANSWER
I recently used Quality Home Inspections (800-387-6885) ask for Tony Scirghio. NYS Licensed and Insured, and a member of ASHI. My wife and I thought he was very honest, extremely thorough, and professional.
