Can any PS area agents point me in the direction of dog-friendly communities?
We are looking for a one-bedroom condo on ground level with an enclosed patio area. Only found one so far, called Sunrise Palms.

Sunrise Palms is a great complex, because you get more of a yard then just a patio.
Other considerations, may be Casa Verde in central Palm Springs. One Bedrooms start at around $135,000. Great central location, close to everything, and less wind here too. Indian Canyon condos have two bedrooms, but good values, many with a good sized gated patio. Very dog friendly, with large areas to walk your dogs, and they provide pooper scooper bags to pick up after them too. YOu can find nice units in the mid $100s. Casa Sonora in south Palm Springs has 2 bedroom units, but they have their own gated dog park, which is cool. Palm Springs has one of the best dog parks in the Valley, behind the City Hall. They have a big dog area separate from the small dog area...its quite the social scene for dogs and humans. If your dog is like mine, they'll beg you to take them there! Best of luck to you! Hi Vicki:
If you don't have to have a home in Palm Springs, there are many 1 bedroom condos in the other communities, especially some of the golf courses developments. And, there are several doggie parks throughout the desert, where dog owners take their dogs to walk, run, socialize & interact with other dogs as well as the dog owners. The community I live in is considering putting in a doggie park inside our gated community since there are lots of dog owners. It's a great idea for the dogs & owners. Vicki,
There are several complexes in town that may have what you are looking for. Besides Sunrise Palms, you should also look at the Palm Springs Country Club, there is a 1 bedroom currently for sale with an enclosed patio area. Another place you might want to look is the Riviera Gardens. There are some ground level units that have enclosed patio areas. The Desert Holly complex is also a good choice. These are Mid-Century in design, 1 bedroom, and enclosed patios with high walls. I also know have a small complex in the south end of Palm Springs, the condos are 1 bedroom, being offered furnished, enclosed patios, and being offered below 200k. As you can see, you have many options available to you. If I can be of any assistance to you, please let me know. Have a great day!!
