Can a listing be removed from your site?

Asked by Gws.schneider, Jacksonville, FL Wed Feb 20, 2013

We are in the process of selling our home at 85235 Sagaponack Drive, Fernandina Beach, FL. The old listing from 2010 is showing up ahead of our current 2013 listing of this property. Can the old 2010 listing be removed from your site?

Have your agent call Trulia customer service and they will take care of it for you. This is a common glitch.

Generally speaking, listings in the Nassau County MLS (Multiple Listing System) stay in the system approximately 3 years. So, if a property was listed, then sold or withdrawn, and later listed again within that 3-year time frame, the earlier listing would also come up in a search. I am not aware of listings being removed unless they contain fraudulent or incorrect information.
