Can I purchase a home after DIL with extenuating circumstances after 8 months? Renting these days adds up to Mortgage & taxes..

The general rule is three years with extenuating circumstances such as illness, job loss, etc. However, check with a good, local lender to get their input. Also make sure you're keeping the rest of your credit clean by making payments on time, etc. Best of luck with your plans.
