What is your agent advising...you can offer whatever you wish, however in order to determine a fair offer you really should review comps, recently sold similar properties in the immediate area, see what the data suggests and go from there....

The question I have is whether your offer will be seen as a wild pitch. Here is an anlysis for low ball offers. You can decide then what kind of strategy you want to follow. http://www.trulia.com/blog/SteveQuintana/2012/04/reality_che…

Hopefully you are going to base an offer on other properties that you have seen. You can ask you broker to give you some comparable sales to help you make the right decision

You may offer anything you feel, an offer is just that, an offer.. Your realtor can assist you in getting your offer presented.

If you do not have a buyers agent, feel free to give me a call.

Yup, even if it is priced at $49,000. Ask your realtor for guidance. Good luck,

You can offer anything you believe you are willing to pay for any property. You may want to leave a little wiggle room for negotiations.

Do you have a Realtor representing your interests? Ask your Realtor to run comparatives on the property with other historical homes so you get a clear idea what the value might be.
