Can I get a 30 year fixed rate mortgage with a IRS Tax lien?

This tax lien dates back to 1998. Over the years I've been making monthly payments however, the interest rate being charged (18% -20% range), I'm not making much progress and will probably never get it paid in full in this lifetime. So with this issue in mind, is there mortgage money available? By the way, my FICO score is 775 and my current monthly expenses represent approximately 25% of my monthly gross of $4500.

I suggest you talk with a couple of Good lenders. It sounds to me you maybe able to but the dollar amount you would qualify for maybe low.
