Can I get a Fannie Mae loan despite a bankruptcy discharge of over 2 years which did not include my present residence.?

It is unlikeley but there are other types of mortgages. your first step should be to meet with a local and trusted loan officer who can prequailify you looking at your credit and financials and see what you may quailify for.

Hello,

Typically Fannie Mae loans require 4 years after discharge. FHA may do as little as 2 years with a valid reason for the BK. In all cases perfect credit is required after the BK discharge.
