Hi Sara, that is a tall order - however, Summit in and of itself is a great location with its access to NYC, train lines and urban/suburban appeal. Click the link below to see a Gallery of all properties in Summit with a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a max asking price of $600,000.

The best way to get your arms around a community and what your money will buy is by doing the very research you are doing - and Trulia is a great resource to tap. Your money will go further as you travel west, and you can still do very well commuting wise.

Please reach out to me if you'd like to discuss Summit or an expanded search.

Sara,

I will shoot you an email but there are definitely homes available in Summit. I just found a great home for my buyers in Summit which is scheduled to close the end of October.

Keep in mind that if you are a first time homebuyer or haven't owned a home in the past three years you may qualify for the federal tax credit of up to $8,000 which is a great incentive for buyers who close on or before November 30, 2009.

Good luck with your home search and I hope to hear from you.

Hi Sarah,

Have you been actively looking in Summit? If you haven't seen anything you like, you should consider some of the surrounding towns. I'll send you a few properties via email.
