The home has no starting bid, and the home was vacated. This is my first attempt at purchasing a home. I am also looking at foreclosures, and paying cash for whatever I buy.
They have to give you clear title, but there could be old water & sewer bill, seems your not working w/Realtor or you could have a title co look it up or R.E. atty.Good luck

Laws vary from state to state so I would check either with an attorney or the official representatives for the county which is holding the tax sale. They can be very helpful but they will INSIST that you do due diligence on the property because once the gavel goes down, you own the property warts and all.
good morning.....you will recv either the interest and late fees asscociated with the purchase of the tax lien when the taxes are paid, or the home will be conveyed to you with whatever is attached to the home on title if the taxes are not paid.....i suggest a title search before purchasing....it will not give you total protection, because subsequent issues could arise after the date fo your search...if you are looking for the most secure investment for your cash....buy foreclsoures and take ownership by warranty deed and a title committment....best regards.....bob mcclure- success mortgage partners- plymouth, michigan.....
