CAN I BACK OUT OF A SHORT SALE IF I SIGN AN ADDENDUM? THE SHORT SALE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED.

Hi Freddy,
When you signed the short sale addendum, did you sign the box stating that the earnest money deposit would be held at your buyer's agent's broker's office. If so, this is very simple. Your agent should return your check.
Eitlher way, you don't have a true agreement until you have approval from the bank.
