hi.....katina hit the nail on the head.......no one represents you in a deal such as your's if you go it alone without a realtor...their commisssion is covered by the seller anyway, rather than the listing agent double-dipping and still really only representing the seller....read every line of the p.a.especially if the builder has his own p.a...use a title company of you or your agent's choice...not the bulider's and not the listing agent's....many builders can bury clauses in the pa. that you won't either read nor understand until you reach the closing table with a surprise......best of luck with your deal......bob mcclure- success mortgage partners- plymouth, michigan.......

For one thing, a third party is able to distance themselves from the outcome during the negotiations without emotion, something few buyers or sellers themselves are able to do.

Greetings,
You are going to pay $$$ for the house regardless of whether or not you have representation. We are not like lawyers charging you by the second.

Why would you not have an independent party represent your best interests. There is NOTHING that a Realtor does that you can't do. There is probably a lot a Realtor KNOWS that you don't.

This is the biggest investment of your life. Why risk it? Whether you have an agent or not the price of the house is still $$$.

A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.

Good Luck,
