The best way to find out about a co-op is to look at the financials of the building. Then I would see how many units are owner-occupied as opposed to investor or sponsor owned. Then talk to people who live there to see how well the building is kept up. I have lent in numerous co-ops throughout the Bronx and Westchester. Feel free to call me at 718-904-0004 if you have questions about a specific co-op.
