As I see it, buying property in South Bend is no diferent than buying property any where else in the Michiana area. If you're looking for a place to live, then you would have to weigh the pros and the cons of the area and how it fits you. If your looking at the area as an investor, then there are numerous oppurtunity's with the foreclosure situation and the low market values on the other property's in this area caused by all the foreclosure property's.
