Bought home February 2007. Paid $15,000 more than market value at suggestion of our realtor because

sellers' agent reported another offer. Because home had just had extensive remodeling, our agent recommended the asking price (although remodel was counted when coming up with market value). How long the home was really on the market withheld from us, so we agreed, because we thought with most of remodeled and a new roof, we would not have to put money in for several years. Instead, as soon as we moved in, found leak at heating baseboards; clogged pipes backed into showers at first laundry (sellers HAD to know about clogs due to living with five children!), Slow leaks under floors from two toilets so both had to be replaced. Bath faucet handle required replacing. Roof tiles came off. Seller lied re: # of cats & how long since in home; now ill from cat dander, we must replace two-year-old carpet. Sellers skipped MAIN step when installing tile in three rooms, so grout came out and tiles cracked before we started using those rooms. Tearout and redo required. MORE! Recourse?
