There are some great communities around Sacramento. How long of a commute do you plan to have? I would love to hear more about your home search.

Have a great afternoon!

Realtors are barred from recommending specific neighborhoods to the public because that could be viewed as steering or being discriminatory. However, we can give you general advice. I recommend checking out https://www.crimereports.com for a comprehensive list of reported crimes in the areas that you are thinking about moving to.

Besides West Sacramento, Natomas is a great area to live, and extremely convenient. It's just outside of West Sacramento, and there is immediate freeway access to Hwy 5 and Hwy 80. Just 10 minutes away from the Sacramento Airport, 10 minutes from downtown, and less than 10 minutes to the causeway that will take you West out of Sacramento and into Davis and beyond.

I live and work in West Sacramento. It's great! Beautiful scenery along the Sacramento River, nice parks, low crime. Come take a look. I'd love to show you around.

West Sacramento's location is unique. Southport is a wonderful area to consider in West Sacramento.
Please email or call me and we can further discuss your needs for your next home.

Dear Should We Relocate:
West Sacramento has a few different neighborhoods.
1. There are older tree-lined neighborhoods full of 1950's bungalows and 1960-70's ranch homes, up and down he Business 80 cooridaor.
2. Many larger and newer, 2000+, contemporary homes in the South Port Area.
3. Upscale gated communities near the Sacramento River with homes built around 2005
4. And a few multiple story contemporary condos recently built since 2010.
As an experienced broker who has sold many homes in this area, I would ask you more specifically, what your tastes and needs are for your next home. If I can be of more help to you, please contact me to let me know.

Well - that's a loaded question. Sacramento is a great place to live and there are many surrounding communities that you can explore. For example - if you are into the urban farm movement you might want to check out Orangevale or Citrus Heights or any number of other communities that offer larger lots. Maybe you want to live in a vibrant downtown in a loft, yep we have those too. Horse property? Near a great park or community center? Maybe you want an Olympic size pool with a great swim program for your kids. It's all here. What you need to do is find a Realtor who's familiar with the area and start doing your research. Best of luck to you and Welcome to our community!

I would be more than happy to recommend a real estate agent to show you a few areas and homes so that you can make your own decision on that. You will love the area a lot more if you decided to live there. Just send me an email if you have any further questions.
