You may want to look around the Woolbright and Federal area. This location has enjoyed quite a change in the past few years with upgraded shopping centers, new restaurants and businesses open and a mixed use complex offering rentals if you want to give the area a try first.. You could find a number of condos and single family homes between Woolbright and Ocean Ave which offer access to three waterfront restaurants, from there it's a quick drive to Congress which has more than enough shopping and only 20 minutes from the airport. If you're a beach lover this is a must location. If you can afford Ocean Ridge it's lovely and within walking distance of Ocean Ave and Woolbright or you can still enjoy a location close enough to walk the beach if you are anywhere off Federal Hwy between Woolbright and Ocean. Both Ocean Ave and Woolbright have close public beach access for pedestrians.

There are lots of great communities in walking distance to shops and cafes. To choose the right one depends on your wishlist for your home as well as what the town has to offer.

Hi Margaret,

This particular property is in a 55+ community. The community has an Intracoastal location.

With regard to walking conditions to shops and cafes, you would probably want something in the following areas; Renaissance Commons in Boynton Beach, Downtown Delray Beach, or Downtown Boca Raton. All of these locations will have a much higher price tag.

If I can be of further service, please contact me directly.
