Asked by bran, Moorestown, NJ Sun Sep 15, 2013

I am relocating to Southern New Jersey soon and I am interested if anyone can help me out as I am searching for houses long distance. What are some good communities near the Moorestown, NJ area that have a nice downtown and possible night life scene? Thanks in advance.

If you are looking for a town with a nice downtown, I would suggest Moorestown, Haddonfield and Collingswood. All three towns are an easy commute to Philadelphia.
Feel free to call my office for more details. Good Luck!

There are many nice areas near Moorestown, including Moorestown, that have shopping, cafes, restaurants and night life. There are great malls in Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Deptford and Voorhees. Restaurants galore in Collingswood and Cherry Hill, and beautiful historical downtowns in Moorestown and Haddonfield. If you're unsure, you can reach out to me, and I can have one of my agents take you around to look at properties.

HI there-

Moorestown is a great community with a great downtown/main street. There is no "night life" in Moorestown due to the fact it is a "dry" town BUT they do have some great restaurants. They did recently okay Liquor for restaurants at the Moorestown mall

Collingswood has a great downtown. Haddonfield has a GREAT main street with good restaurants.

All of these places are close to Philly, which of course has all the nightlife you would want and more. :)

Please give me a call or shoot me an email. Would be happy to chat and help you on your move to South Jersey. 856.297.6827 sam@samlepore.com

Such an interesting question for our area. Our area is diverse and very compact with one town flowing right into another. Some of the towns with the most charming downtowns are also "dry" with no bars and restaurants that are all byob. The best nightlife might be in the adjacent town that doesn't have a true "Main Street". We are also very close to Philly with all the nightlife, sports and cultural events you could ever want. Your decision will be more about the type of housing you like and your price point. Please feel free to browse our website and ask for a free buyer consultation when you are ready. We have worked with many rotating buyers over 20 plus years in the business. Best wishes to you and good luck with your move!
