There are many programs available to assist a home buyer with their down payments and closing cost. Many are insured by government programs such as CDA, VA, & FHA. There are specific programs and grants that can be used in conjunction with CDA loans that can be used by the buyer to offset down payment cost. A few of these grants are the FHLB Program and the DSELP program. We specialize in assisting potential homebuyers overcome the down payment and closing cost obstacle to purchase a home. Check with the Hagerstown Home store. Certain areas of Downtown Hagerstown qualify for up to $9500 assistance. In addition, your employer may participate in the House Keys for employees. Check with your H R department. Additionally there is the first time home buyers tax credit of $8,000. Check with a Lender. Also there are still a few options still available with low or no down payments.
