There are many programs available to assist a home buyer with their down payments and closing cost. Many are insured by government programs such as CDA, VA, & FHA. There are specific programs and grants that can be used in conjunction with CDA loans that can be used by the buyer to offset down payment cost. A few of these grants are the FHLB Program and the DSELP program. We specialize in assisting potential homebuyers overcome the down payment and closing cost obstacle to purchase a home. To that end, I've written a FREE Report, titled "21 Ways to Find Cash To Buy a Home NOW!". You can order a free copy at our website http://www.21WaysToBuy.com. Some of the programs outlined are specific to the Hagerstown and Washington County area. Currently a very good program that is available is the USDA Rural Housing Loan, which will allow a home buyer to finance 100% of the purchase price, thus eliminating the need for a down payment. You are allowed to ask the seller to contribute towards your closing cost under this program as well, which should cover all or most of the up front cost of purchasing a home. We'd love to help!
