Should your payments stop being made, the lender needs to know how to find you. Without either of those documents you are 'off the radar'.

I would just caution you if the property listings are from RealtyTrac, which is a company who advertises "foreclosure listings" on Trulia. RealtyTrac's primary objective is to separate you from your money in exchange for providing information most any RealtorÂ® can provide you for FREE.

If you really want to have the most up to date information for ACTIVE listings team with a local RealtorÂ® who can set you up with an automated search for what you can afford.
But if you do buy a manfactured home you should be very careful. Don't buy one that was built before June 15, 1976 as there are many health and safety issues you will need to consider. Additionally, they may be very difficult to get your money back out of.
