I am glad you asked this question, Juan!

An EBA is a brokerage that only represents buyers and therefore avoids many of the potential pitfalls that an agent representing both buyer's and seller's may encounter.

I feel that the concept of using an EBA is a powerful one. In fact, I began my career as one in a very successful office that is a member of NAEBA.

My only recommendation is that people still interview ANY potential agent as I have seen agents act with integrity while representing both sides and EBA's behave questionably. In my opinion the bottom line is that you need to find someone who will look out for you and not put the other side or put themselves first.

With that said EBA's provide a wonderful service and are able to provide an unquestioned level of representation.
