If you're still looking, there are several townhomes currently available in the North Myrtle Beach area, @ Fairway Oaks on the Surf Golf & Country Club, this complex is only 5 blocks to the beach with the option of walking or riding your golf cart the 5 blocks. If the golf course is not completely necessary, $300K and less will get you oceanfront and oceanview 2BR units in the area too, which have excellent rental histories as vacationers prefer to be as close as possible to the beach. Hilton Head Island has what you want. There are several locations here on or close to the beach with two-bedroom, two-bathroom furnished vacation rental condos for less than $300,000 and even for less than $200,000! One location has an oceanfront swimming pool and cabana bar, ten tennis courts and pro shop, on-site vacation rental company and a 24-hour guarded security gate! I know because I have been selling these economical vacation rental villas on Hilton Head Island for over 33 years! (On Hilton Head Island, we call condos villas). Some of the villas in this price range rent far better than others. Let me find the one that you like best and that will rent the best. A reminder that the vacation rental villas in this price range do not allow pets. A vacation villa in a golf community will cost more than you want to spend but vacation rental success is generally related to proximity to the beach and there are many golf courses within a short drive from these economical villas.

Many people are pleasantly surprised to learn that Hilton Head Island has a good selection of economical real estate and not just the most expensive, luxury properties. I am sure that we will find a good one for you here for less than $300,000.
