Hi Rachel,

I am a licensed real estate salesperson in both New York State and New Jersey. I know Bears Cove is lovely and brand new, but when there is a 55 and over community, age restrictions do apply and typically the lowest age allowed is a 19 year old. There are other possibilities if you want to live in a great townhouse community which allows all ages and I would be glad to help you find one that appeals to you.

Please call me at 914-588-2365.

Take care,

Rachel, I am an agent in Ramsey, affiliated with Terrie O'connor. In the past this question was asked and we contacted the sales office for bi-laws. At that time children were restricted. I would be happy to help you and your daughter review the current position. If this is still the case we could explore your options. 201-236-1174 Rainie

You are going to have to check with the rules of the association. You should have been given a copy when you moved it. Over 55 communities are the only places allowed to restrict occupancy due to age.
