Are there townhomes with backyards in PA?

We prefer the convenience of a townhouse (less maintenance, more space per dollar, etc) with a backyard, something we have bought in other locations but can't seem to find in Palo Alto. Are there units like this we can watch and buy when they become available?

Yes there are several townhouse developments that have rear yards. Check out the following streets: Ferne, Colorado, and Loma Verde. These streets all have developments with rear yards.
If you are looking for something more affordable, there is a great complex in East Palo Alto west of HWY 101 with good size yards priced under $500,000.

Yes, just a handful and quite rare.

I used to live in SF. I find that the weather in PA is warmer, sometimes cold, but I don't recall it ever being foggy.

Which part of Palo Alto are you looking? Do you have a pet? Do you need a garage? Price range?

Joe,
Yes, there are a few complexes in palo alto with units with with backyards. Right off the bat there is a small 5 unit complex on Stanford Ave, all units have backyards. Keep in mind the yards are on the smaller side, more like patios. I'd be happy to send you such properties when they are on the market.

There are a few, the more modern fully equipped town homes. Most new development in PA are two storty townhomes style condos - which doesn't really give you what you want. Pricing for what you are looking for will be in the $1,200,000 and up range when they become available.
