P.s. To increase your potential of qualifying by income, I would suggest getting a roommate, a cosigner, or a guarantor.

On average you are expected to make 35 to 40 times the rent. for example if you have a rent of 1200. You are expected to make $43,000-$48,000 a year. Landlords actually look at the higher end of the scale. If you are making $25,000 It is advised that you look into low income housing by going to:

Its a tough market with your income. However, you may have to think out of the box and consider roommates. Perhaps a few friends who with your combined incomes will open up more options.
