There is one in Cutten, CA but it is for seniors. It has an automatic opener. The other is in Fortuna. Generally, we don't need gated communities. I live in Lundbar Hills and it is the BEST place to live--much better than senior community. It has one road in and out. The best of the best live there and it is SAFE, SAFE, SAFE. Check it out on Zillow.com. It is Eureka's best kept secret and only one block from the Municipal Golf Course. It is close to everything. Home prices start in the mid-$350K.

There are a few gated communities in Eureka, Fortuna and Mckinleyville which have code operated gates. There aren't any that actually have a guard on duty to operate the gate. I hope this answers your question.
