I'm not a realtor, but check out Pinewood Greens -- townhouse community in Falls Church, one mile to Merrifield, and right at Route 29. Search 22043 zip code. Jefferson District Park is right there (tennis/bball courts/9 hole executive golf course). 3 Metro stations within about 4 miles (Dunn Loring, West Falls Church, East Falls Church). good luck

I really like the Westbriar Condos near the corner of Gallows Road and Lee Highway. They are fairly new, secure, and are kept in good condition. Check them out if you haven't seen them and see if you like them.

You may also want to check craigslist - searching Merrifield or Dunn Loring will reveal a sample of what is available. Many condos are currently being listed at prices below purchase price within the last 2 years.

Please give a general price range minimum and maximum and number of bedrooms - there are condos as low as $260K and townhouses as low as $400K for sale in that area.

Hi Roberta,
There are several condos and townhouses in the Merrifield area, depending on what you want to spend and how close you want to be to the metro. In a recent interview with the Washington Post, I emphasized the opportunity there with the redevelopment initiative and the future Merrifield town center. Merrifield is actually not a mailing address, it is part of Vienna, which I know like the back of my hand since I have lived and worked in Vienna since 1993.
If you are interested in seeing those homes, please let me know how many bedrooms and full baths you are looking for, what type of parking you require, in addition to the amount you would like to spend. I have a lender that is offering 100% financing, including closing costs, and seller contributions of 3%-6% of the sales price.

There are a number of townhouses and condos in that area, but they don't have a Merrifield mailing address. I found listings in Vienna, Falls Church and Annandale that are in close proximity to the area you prefer.
