John D., Home Buyer in 11209

Are there any buildings along Shore Road that are quality constructed (i.e. concrete floorbds) so there is reduced noise from neighboring apartments.

Asked by John D., 11209 Mon Apr 8, 2013

I currently live in a prewar co-op building where the walls and floorboards are very thin so noise can become an issue at times.

9921 4th Avenue is a condo but they have thick cement walls separating each floor.

Hello I was just by Shore Road on Oliver Street in a building where the floors are so solid and not much noise at all. If you need any assistance feel free to contact me.

Dear John D.

Any "fireproof" building is great at filtering out noisy neighbors. These would be properties that meet the fireproof building safety codes and laws.

This will explain it a little better...

When you look at a building, simply find out if it is a fireproof building. If it is, you are good to go. If you need assistance locating one, feel free to contact me direct.
