My wife, myself, and two children are looking at new construction homes in the Eagle Landing area. We do not like the idea of being committed to CDD fees and their fluctuating yearly maintenance dues. Another concern is with so few houses being built in that area, is it possible for the CDD fees to go up because of lack of homes. Other question is does anyone know if a builder can be negotiated with to pay for the homeowners CDD fees?
Wayne,
I have no idea why you didn't get an answer to this question - here is my brief take.
Anything can be negotiated but keep in mind that the builder will have a bottom line. If you add fees to your negotiations the price will go up to make sure they hit their bottom line.
